Fogliati Wines was born from a deep-rooted tradition and enduring passion.
Originally owned in the 1800s by Spirito Zocca, a historic producer and exporter of Barolo to Argentina, the estate, spanning the hills between Castiglione Falletto and Monforte, was acquired in the early 1950s by Guido Fogliati, who continued its wine making legacy. Upon his passing, the vineyards remained cultivated, but wine production ceased, and the grapes were instead sold to renowned producers.
In 2016, Guido's grandchildren, Guido and Annalisa, reclaimed the land and the magnificent villa, breathing new life into both through a refined renovation and a commitment to organic cultivation.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Castiglione Falletto, overlooking the rolling hills of the Langhe, UNESCO World Heritage site, a young and dynamic winery was reborn. Today, it is passionately dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards and the production of Barolo, Langhe Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera d’Alba Superiore, with deep respect for the land and its traditions.
A profound passion, from which great wines are born.
